A bus caught fire as it was taking people from the Winnipeg Folk Festival site back to Winnipeg Saturday morning.
Shortly after 11 a.m., passenger Ian Brereton said he heard a bang as the bus was travelling down Lagimodiere Boulevard, after which he saw smoke.
The bus driver pulled over near Headmaster Row and ordered everyone to get off the bus. Brereton said there were about 15 to 20 people on the bus at the time.
Firefighters arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. No one was injured in the incident.
No word yet on what caused the fire.
