The Folklorama Festival kick-off event was cancelled Saturday, due to inclement weather.
Neverthelees, Winnipeg is gearing up for another two weeks of food, music and dancing from around the world as the 47th Folklorama Festival.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature isn't cooperating, so tonight's @Folklorama Kickoff has been cancelled due to the soggy weather.

The festival runs from July 31 to August 13.
Folklorama is the largest multi-cultural festival in the world, President Zaleena Salaam said in a press release.
The event features 45 pavilions representing cultures all around the world.
There is a range of ticket options and prices:
- $6 for single admission for adults, seniors and youth
- $54 for 12 tickets
- $25 for 5 tickets
- $69.95 for VIP tours to three pavilions, or $54.95 for two pavilions
