People in Brandon said goodbye to a well-known community member Sunday.
Former city councillor Errol Black passed away late Saturday night.
Black was awarded the Diamond Jubilee Medal earlier that day for his work in the city.
Before joining Brandon’s city council, he was a professor at Brandon University.
His family has started a memorial at Errol Black Park for anyone who wishes to drop off flowers or cards in his memory.
Black was 73 when he died.
