The City of Winnipeg's former acting Chief Administrative Officer walked away from his job last year with a hefty paycheck.
Compensation disclosure documents show Deepak Joshi was the highest paid employee earning $567,339.
Joshi quit after he was suspended by Mayor Brian Bowman. Bowman said at the time he lost confidence in the acting CAO.
Joshi replaced former CAO Phil Sheegl who left during the fire hall scandal and following revelations the new police headquarters was way over budget.
