A long-serving Winnipeg politician passed away Thursday morning.
Family of Bernie Wolfe says he died peacefully at a care home.
Wolfe served as Winnipeg’s deputy mayor in the 1970s and city councillor in the Transcona area.
A school and swimming pool are named after him.
Bernie Wolfe was 91 years old.
