Two people died in a head-on crash Friday morning near The Pas.
Around 10:30 a.m. Jan. 17, RCMP responded to the two-vehicle collision on Highway 10, just south of The Pas.
Police said a 55-year-old male passenger in a southbound vehicle and a 49-year-old female passenger in a northbound vehicle died.
Emergency crews also rushed a 56-year-old woman from the southbound vehicle to hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
A third person in the southbound vehicle and three others in the northbound vehicle went to hospital in stable condition.
RCMP said alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash and police continue to investigate.
Around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 17, the province said the road had full re-opened to traffic.
Police have not released names of those killed in the crash.
