Emergency crews took the drivers of two pickups to hospital from a head-on crash on Highway 59 Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded around 4:45 p.m., to northbound lanes between Garven and Dunning roads.
A detour was also in place Thursday for northbound lanes.
The highway re-opened before 8 p.m.
RCMP an investigation showed a westbound pickup had been trying to cross Highway 59 at Dunning, when it was hit by a northbound pickup.
A 42-year-old man from Winnipeg was driving the westbound pickup and appeared to be seriously injured from the crash at the time.
RCMP said both he and the 48-year-old driving of the other pickup were released from hospital Thursday evening.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash. RCMP continue to investigate.
