RCMP closed the westbound Perimeter Highway at Highway 8 after a serious crash early Thursday morning.
Officers say a SUV collided head-on with a semi on the Perimeter Highway at Highway 8, near the McPhillips underpass, just before 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
One woman was taken to hospital in stable condition, but sustained serious injuries. The driver was unharmed.
The Perimeter Highway westbound was completely blocked to traffic early Thursday morning, the eastbound lane was partially blocked.
RCMP say traffic can divert onto McPhillips Street or Pipeline Road.
There is no word on the cause of the crash.
