Emergency crews were on scene near Birds Hill Provincial Park where a semi-trailer was on fire.
Police said Highway 59 was closed Thursday morning between Kirkness Road and the Birds Hill overpass while crews extinguished the blaze.
Officials said the fire has since been put out, and the highway has reopened.
RCMP said there are no injuries.
