More than 900 kids and adults will become official agents at the ninth annual Ice Crystal Gala on Sunday.
The family event will feature an area where kids can undergo training activities on how to become agents, listen to music from Brooke Van Ryssel and participate in Barry Kay dance parties and special entertainment.
The gala, presented by the Provinciano family, begins at 5:00p.m. at the RBC Convention Centre.
The black tie event is being held in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba in hopes of raising over $300,000.
With this money, the hospital plans to purchase specialized, life-saving equipment, fund a position for the new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and purchase more bassinets to allow newborns to sleep in the same room as their mothers.
