B’Nai Brith’s local chapter is frustrated at the emergence of more posters they say are anti-Semitic.

David Matas of B’Nai Brith said the posters showed up on posts on Broadway. He said they’re of the same nature as posters that were put up downtown last month that alleged Mayor Sam Katz and other members of the city’s business community were involved in “questionable transactions.”

The new posters now have 13 names crossed off. Matas said B’Nai Brith is concerned with how long it is taking police to respond to the posters.

Winnipeg police said they are taking the matter seriously. The major crimes unit, technological crimes section and hate crimes unit are all investigating both incidents.
