Winnipeg police said a man was stabbed at The Forks during Canada 150 celebrations Saturday night.
Police said it happened near the skate park around 7 p.m.
Officers said the victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition.
A man was arrested shortly after in the area and was also taken to hospital after he sustained injuries in the attack, police said.
Officers said the victim and suspect know each other and there was no concern for public safety.
