A woman pulled from a burning vehicle on the Trans-Canada Highway in June has died.

Angela Strike succumbed to her injuries at Health Sciences Centre Monday morning.

Strike was the lone driver of the car that was rear-ended by a truck on June 26.

Her husband, Jon, was driving in the SUV in front of her with their three children.

Both of their vehicles caught on fire. Jon and the children made it out.

The injured husband tried to pull his wife out of the burning car. Strike suffered third-degree burns all over her body and was in an induced coma.

Her sister, Shannon Croft, told CTV the family would like to thank everyone for their support since the crash.
