A barn was destroyed by a massive fire near Niverville on Tuesday night. The fire started at around 8:00 p.m. just off Highway 59 on Provincial Road 311.
Niverville fire crews arrived to find the barn completely engulfed. They called for back-up from surrounding fire departments, including St. Pierre and the Rural Municipalities of Richot and Tache.
So far, the cause of the fire and the contents of the barn are unknown.
