A crash at Gunn Road and the Perimeter Highway killed one person Friday morning. A gravel truck and a small car collided around 9:00 a.m., RCMP said.
The driver of the car died in the crash. The truck driver was not injured.
RCMP closed Gunn Road from Highway 101 to Redonda and reduced Highway 101 to one lane while they investigated the crash. Traffic was moving again later in the day.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
