Police have asked for the public’s help investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a house on Pritchard Avenue last month.

Marilyn Rose Munroe, 41, was found dead on Feb. 22. Police have called her death a homicide.

Now, the Winnipeg Police Service wants to piece together Munroe’s whereabouts in the days leading up to her death.

Police would like to talk to anyone who might have seen Munroe in the days before Feb. 12, when she was last seen at 1:50 p.m. They would also like any information about her whereabouts after she was last seen.

Munroe is described as five feet six inches (168 centimetres) tall, about 130 pounds (59 kilograms), with long dark hair. She was last seen wearing several layers of sweaters and carrying a plastic bag.

Anyone who might have had contact with her around the time she was last seen can call investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
