Winnipeg police have released the name of the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in Garden City Monday.
Emergency responders were called to the 900 block of Jefferson Avenue after the victim, identified as Sharon Strong, was struck by the driver of a Toyota Camry.
Strong, 58, sustained critical injuries and was later pronounced dead.
Police said the driver of the Camry is a female.
The Central Traffic Unit continues to investigate the incident, and ask anyone with further information to contact them at 204-986-6271.
