Starting on July 15, Red Cross teams will be visiting Manitoba communities to help provide aid for those affected by flooding.

“In some cases, people need essential items or food because of the impact of flooding. The Red Cross, working collaboratively with organizations, will do our best to quickly help these individuals, whether they are in person or on the phone,” said Shawn Feely, Red Cross provincial director for Manitoba, in a statement.

Locations include:

  • July 15 - Deloraine, Community Hall, 111 Caver St. N., until 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17 - Brandon, Keystone Centre, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday, July 18 - Pierson, RM of Edward office, 58 Railway Ave., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Red Cross said more locations will be announced when details are confirmed.
