Thompson RCMP have laid charges against a 56-year-old teacher at RD Parker Collegiate in Mystery Lake.
On March 22 RCMP said they received a complaint about inappropriate behavior between a teacher and a female student at the school.
Two days later officers arrested 56-year-old David John Boyce. Boyce has been charged with sexual exploitation of a young person.
Boyce has been released with a number of conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Thompson on May 25, RCMP say.
RCMP said the investigation is on going and are not releasing any further information at this time
