Two boys are facing charges after a string of garbage bins were set on fire in the River Heights area Saturday evening.

Around 5:15 p.m. police said two teens were walking in the River Heights area when they proceeded to light several trash bins on fire.

Police said the instances occurred in the 700 block of Cambridge Street, the 1200 block of Grant Avenue, the 1500 block of Corydon Avenue and on Grant Avenue and Nathaniel Street.

Police estimated $1,000 in damage.

Police said two boys, 13 and 14, are faced with a number of charges including arson causing damage to property.
