Two women died after a head-on collision near Oakbank on Sunday.
Two vehicles, one driving east and the other driving west, crashed on Garven Road, about three kilometres east of PR 206. One of the vehicles sideswiped a third after the collision.
Two of the three occupants of the eastbound vehicle died from their injuries, an 86-year-old woman and an 80-year-old woman.
The three occupants of the westbound vehicle were taken to hospital in stable condition. No one in the third vehicle was injured.
The crash is still under investigation, but RCMP said they don’t consider alcohol to be a factor.
