The University of Manitoba has set a big goal with big rewards.
The Front and Centre campaign aims to raise $500 million to support what the university calls its strategic priorities in research and learning.
The campaign is in a quiet phase, where the university will gauge support and secure preliminary fundraising. They will officially launch the endeavor at homecoming in 2015.
The university has named Paul Soubry, President and CEO of New Flyer Industries, as the campaign’s chair.
The campaign focuses on five priorities, including indigenous achievement, research excellence, and places and spaces.
