Winnipeg is no stranger to movies being shot in our city.

Now, another film has wrapped, and had its premiere in town.

You won’t recognize any of the stars of this film, at least not yet.

They’re young Winnipeggers taking part in Art City’s summer-long Green Art Program.

Over the course of two months, the kids wrote the script, built the set and made the costumes.

And with a little help from filmmaker Noam Gonick, they took part in every aspect of filming.

The result? A film called “The Odd Life of Dr. Dentist Tooth.”

"Sometimes, to make an actual film, people have to have a bad time to make a good product. But I think the main priority for Art City is for everyone to have a good time," said Noam Gonick.

And it seems as if that’s exactly what happened on this film project. Watch the film here.
