The Assiniboine Park Zoo is celebrating three days of thanks this weekend with special programs for families and treats for the polar bears.
The treats are for Thanksgiving, but they're also to celebrate the polar bears’ birthdays.
Hudson turned three on Saturday, and since the other bears birthdays are unknown, zoo staff decided to make this weekend an extended birthday party for all of them.
"I thought it was going to be scary, but it was amazing seeing polar bears close up," said Grayson Fricker.
Activities continue tomorrow for Thanksgiving Monday. Polar bear treats are handed out at 11 a.m.
