As the weather warms up, the zoo is cooling down the price of admission.
Starting April 1, on the first Tuesday of each month, the cost for adult, senior and youth visitors will be $12, children three and older, $10.
Children under the age of three receive free admission.
The zoo says it made the change following the success of its $10 Tuesday promotion when Journey to Churchill opened last year.
Additionally, the zoo will extend its hours until 8 pm on Wednesdays throughout the month of July.
The Assiniboine Park Zoo is open daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with spring/summer hours starting Good Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
