The Assiniboine Park Conservancy has a lot of friends and fans in Winnipeg – and that’s helped them raise more than $2.1 million during their 30-day Million Dollar Challenge.
The group aimed to raise $1 million in June for the Imagine a Place Campaign to redevelop and revitalize the park and zoo.
The Imagine a Place campaign is hoping to raise $200 million to improve the park. So far the campaign has raised $113 million.
