Beaver Bus Lines operations manager John Panting said after much consideration, the company is cancelling the Winnipeg to Selkirk route.
In a letter thanking passengers for their support, the company said due to decreasing ridership and increasing costs, it was no longer feasible to keep the route operating.
"The many miles we have travelled together, the laughs we have shared and the friendship we have formed will last forever," the letter reads.
The route will make its last stops June 30. It has been running between the two communities for more than 50 years.
