Police are investigating after a body was pulled from the banks of the Red River near the Redwood Bridge Monday afternoon.

A man was walking in St. John's Park in the North Endwhen he spotted the body.

Firefighters were called to cut away some logs that were on top of the body.

Police would not confirm that. On Tuesday, police said foul play is not suspected, but cause of death has yet to be determined.

Officers said they have not yet positively identified the body.

An autopsy has been scheduled.
