An 18-year-old man from Winnipeg was killed in Saskatoon over the weekend.

Mohamed Omar died after being stabbed during a disturbance at a Saskatoon business early Sunday morning.

Saskatoon police say the man was found at the business at around 1 a.m. Sunday. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officers believe an initial altercation took place in a vehicle and then continued into the nearby business. They say the victim and the accused knew each other.
