Crews called to multi-vehicle crash near St. François Xavier

RCMP and emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision near St. François Xavier Monday morning.

Emergency crews were on scene around 9 a.m.

About 10 vehicles were involved in the crash, including several semi trailers. RCMP said poor visibility contributed to the chain reaction crash.

Highway 1 West was closed from Headingley to Portage la Prairie earlier Monday morning due to blowing snow and overall poor driving conditions.

Police said no serious injuries were reported in the St. François Xavier collision.
