Workers with the city's largest union have voted to accept the city's labour deal offer.

CUPE Local 500 workers cover city services like wading pools, street cleaning, and filling pot holes.

They cast their ballots Thursday on the city' latest offer, which included salary increases of 1.5 per cent for the first three years.

There's no mention of a salary hike for year four.

The workers voted 65 per cent in favour.

There are 4,600 workers that belong to CUPE Local 500.
