Overland flooding near Selkirk continued to make driving difficult on Sunday.
An ice jam on the Red River north of Selkirk near the Highway 4 crossing was causing flooding upstream.
PR 204 leading to the Selkirk Bridge was closed Saturday morning after water from the Red River overflowed its banks.
The province closed and put up barriers along PR 204 from PR 509 to 212.
Earlier this year, Amphibex ice breaking machines went to work on the river in the area. A spokesperson for the provincial government said other ice moving downstream can bunch up and cause problems.
