Garage destroyed in East Kildonan fire

A garage has been completely destroyed following a fire in East Kildonan on Tuesday night.
The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to the garage fire in the 400 block of Jamison Avenue around 9:50 p.m.
Videos posted to Facebook show heavy flames and plumes of smoke in a back lane near the intersection of Jamison and Watt Street.
Firefighters quickly got the flames under control. No one was hurt, but the garage is a total loss. Two neighbouring homes also sustained heat damage.
The fire is being investigated.
