After a devastating storm last October destroyed the boardwalk at Grand Beach, it's now been rebuilt, re-opened and is ready for summer.
Last fall, powerful winds and high waves tore up large parts of the boardwalk that had been in place since the 1960s.
The province has put 2.7 million dollars into the boardwalk renovation. It's the first of three phases to be completed.
The new boardwalk has a railing, a few lookout points and the surface is made of concrete and stone, which should hold up in case of another storm.
In addition, the dunes and beach were cleaned up and more sand was brought in after the storm left them mangled.
Andrew Juvonen, 15, says the new design is "way nicer" than before, and he's planning on spending as much time as possible out here.
