A 33-year-old man was rushed to hospital in critical condition early Wednesday morning after an altercation at a bar in the 700 block of Corydon Avenue, near Cockburn Street.
Sources told CTV News the altercation started inside Bar Italia and spilled out onto the street, involving both bar patrons and staff.
CTV News contacted the bar, but had not received a response Wednesday afternoon.
The assault happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police had not yet made any arrests in the assault on July 28 and continue to investigate.
