Dinosaurs were the dominant life form on this planet 65 million years ago - on land, that is.
In the sea, a marine reptile named the Mosasaur was king.
If you've ever been to Morden, you've been able to see a fossil of one called "Bruce" in the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre.
Now, a more lifelike version has arrived.
"Bruce is a frightening creature to look at in the museum," said Peter Cantelon from the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre.
"This is roughly the size Bruce would have been. But to see Bruce with skin on? It's well beyond my expectations."
Alberta company Dinosaur Valley Studios made the sculpture. The project took months.
"We basically reconstructed Bruce's skeleton in steel, to the same measurements we got from his skeleton," said Frank Hadfield.
Next, the company built Bruce's flesh out of expanding foam. Meticulously carving the intricate details to make it as realistic as possible.
"You're seeing an animal that hasn't existed for 65 million years," said Hadfield. "And it sort of brings it to life."
Of course, in real life, you'd never want to encounter this hulking creature. But the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre hopes many will want to see this replica.
And you'll get your chance, this summer. It will be placed outdoors in a prominent location.
The idea is for it to become a roadside attraction, leading people to the Fossil Discovery Centre.
