Winnipeg fire officials have confirmed a water rescue happened early Monday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., one person was pulled from the water near the Children’s Museum and taken away by ambulance. Current condition is unknown.
Police and fire officials were seen searching the waters and the banks of the Red River Monday morning.
No details have been released about how the person got into the river. A second man was on the shore trying to help.
