Mark Schiefele had a goal and an assist, as the Jets moved four points ahead of Los Angeles for the final Western Conference playoff berth.
Pavelec has led the Winnipeg Jets to four straight wins.
The Jets will take Sunday off, then play Monday and Tuesday in Edmonton and Vancouver.
