Former Winnipeg city councillor Scott Fielding has won the Kirkfield Park riding, CTV News declares.
The Tory unseated incumbent NDP candidate Sharon Blady, who has held the seat since 2007.
Blady narrowly won the 2011 provincial election with 46 per cent of the vote. She beat her PC challenger Kelly de Groot by only 21 votes after a recall.
With PC support growing in the riding, Kirkfield Park was considered a tight election battle from the day the writ was dropped.
Fielding also bested Liberal candidate Kelly Nord and Green Party candidate Lisa Omand.
