Peace is the title and subject matter of the first temporary exhibit coming to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

How peace was achieved in the Suez Canal Crisis is one of topics being examined in the exhibit.

The travelling display has been developed in conjunction with the Canadian War Museum. It explores the ways Canadians have defined, made and kept peace aboard and here at home.

"We welcome this opportunity to work with another national museum to help tell our country's rich and diverse history from day one," museum President and CEO Stuart Murray.

In addition to sharing Canadian stories, creators hope "Peace" shows visitors how complex the pursuit of peace can be.

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights opens September 20.
