Stonewall RCMP are investigating after a semi-trailer caught fire in a trucking yard on Inkster Boulevard in the RM of Rosser that sent one man to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The unit caught fire in the TransX compound on Inkster Boulevard west of Route 90 around 4:00 a.m. Feb. 14. Flames had fully engulfed the trailer when police arrived.
The 42-year-old driver received non-life threatening injuries and was sent to hospital. The semi-trailer, which was loaded with groceries destined for Calgary, was completely destroyed.
Police are looking into the cause of the fire. They believe it started from a small stove in cab of the truck.
