Police seize three kilograms of cocaine during traffic stop

Three kilograms of cocaine were seized during a traffic stop in the West Broadway area last week.
It happened Aug. 18 at Broadway and Maryland Street. RCMP said a 39-year-old man was pulled over in a Toyota Corolla and a vehicle check turned up three kilograms of powder cocaine.
Police also seized three electronic communication devices. The man was the only person in the car at the time.

He’s been released after posting bail, and is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Sept. 22.
