Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be in Winnipeg Friday evening for the opening ceremonies of the Canada Summer Games.
On Friday morning, Trudeau was in Kenora for a boat tour on Lake of the Woods.
He is scheduled to meet with Mayor Brian Bowman at city hall before the opening ceremonies, which are scheduled for 7 p.m. at the MTS Centre.
On Saturday, the prime minister is scheduled to meet with Premier Brian Pallister before making an announcement about Canada's Diversity Gardens at Assiniboine Park.
