We've now moved into the fall season, of course, but summertime temperatures have returned to southern Manitoba on Friday.
This afternoon will be sunny, windy (with strong, gusting west winds) and warm with daytime highs in the mid-20s!
A very different story today in the northern half of the province. Many, but not all, regions will still be on the receiving end of rain courtesy of a slow-moving low pressure system. Areas furthest north should see the most rain with 5 to 15 mm possible into Saturday morning. But showers will continue further south in Thompson in strong winds until late tonight.
Saturday could be the south's turn for showers including Winnipeg. A disturbance is on the way from the Pacific today that's expected to produce showers or even thunderstorms tomorrow. Sunday also looks like it could be soggy in the city, too.
