Hit the repeat button! Today's conditions are very similar across southern and northern Manitoba today to what they were on Monday.
Here in the south, Winnnipeg, Brandon and most regions will be fairly sunny, windy and warm with afternoon highs expected to reach around 27 or 28C.
Meanwhile, a low that was spinning over the north yesterday has moved off over Hudson Bay. But it's still responsible for showers, non-severe thunderstoms and cooler temperatures across most northern regions today.
A trough to the west of us could help trigger potentially severe thunderstorms overnight in the southwest. At this point, the main threat appears to be hail.
A second low moving in from Montana could also trigger potentially severe thunderstorms in the southwest on Wednesday afternoon and evening. The setup here suggests that all threats are possible including large hail, strong winds, significant rain and the risk of a tornado.
The next chance of some much needed rain in Winnipeg comes on Thursday. And there's at least a chance of more on Friday and Saturday.
