The month of November comes to a close on Monday with sunshine and mild temperatures across most of Manitoba, north and south. The lone cavaet is strong and gusting south winds this afternoon in Winnipeg and the Red River Valley.
High pressure ridges over the Prairies and southeastern Manitoba at upper and surface levels with keep the sky mainly clear tonight. Mild overnight lows in the south will be much closer to the normal daytime high for this time of year!
December will start off much the same way in Winnipeg on Tuesday, minus today's strong winds. Look for sunshine and very mild temperatures for this time of year to continue.
And it looks like mild conditions keep on coming the rest of this week, with daytime highs right around the freezing mark. Most days will be sunny, too.
So, if you're waiting for colder condtions and more snow, you'll have to wait a while longer. But really, winter doesn't officially arrive for a few weeks yet!
