A man was struck and killed by a train at about 4 a.m. Sunday morning near Borebank Street and Taylor Avenue, police said.
Police said an 18-year-old man was walking along the tracks when he was struck by the train. He was taken to hospital, but later died from his injuries.
Officers are reminding people to stay off train tracks at all times.
On Monday, police said that the death appears accidental.
