WINNIPEG -- Winnipeg Jets forward Evander Kane is questionable for Wednesday night's game against the Blackhawks but he will be making the trip to Chicago.

Kane is listed as day to day with an unspecified injury.

Head coach Claude Noel says Kane's status will be reviewed in Chicago.

Kane did not play in Winnipeg's 4-2 win over Detroit on Monday night. He has nine points (six goals, three assists) in 15 games this season.

Noel is hoping the Jets can put together the same kind of game they managed without Kane when they beat the Red Wings.

Noel was happy to see the Jets execute many of the things he's been preaching for some time. Winnipeg's improved puck control created scoring chances against one of the Eastern Conference's stronger teams.

Entering play Tuesday night, the 6-8-2 Jets were tied for 11th place in the Western Conference standings.
