A Winnipeg group has expanded to two other provinces.

Winnipeg’s Bear Clan now has a branch in Kenora, Ontario and Regina, Saskatchewan.

Regina’s program White Pony Lodge began patrols last weekend.

The leader of Winnipeg’s group, James Favel, was in Kenora Tuesday for the launch of the volunteer program.

In Winnipeg, the Bear Clan patrols the city’s North End, looking for people in distress and watching out for crime.

The Bear Clan has been involved in a number of high profile searches for missing people this year, including Cooper Nemeth, Chase Martens, and Delaine Copenace of Kenora.
