A 43-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving went into the ditch and rolled over in Lac du Bonnet Saturday, RCMP said.
The Mounties said it happened around 6:30 p.m. on Provincial Road 433, also known as Lee River Road.
Investigators said it looks like the vehicle lost control on a gravel portion of the road, entered the south ditch, and rolled over on to its roof.
The woman, who was the only one in the vehicle, died at the scene. She was from Lac du Bonnet.
RCMP said it doesn’t look like the woman was wearing a seatbelt, and they don’t believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
A forensic unit is assisting with the investigation.
